Filling an object with two colors so that the first color (in the center of the object) smoothly blends in to the second color (in the outer portion of the object). See also Linear Fill.
Relational Database
An organized collection of data stored in separate tables. A series of tables (databases) that can be queried simultaneously for relative data.

The upper most directory in a hierarchical filing system. On a Windows machine, normally C:\
Router
A software program or device that determines the route for a packet to travel across a network. Routers create and manage a database of available routes and use the data to determine the quickest path from the current location to the next network point. This process is repeated until the packet reaches it's destination.
