What's the price of peace of mind?
If you're a serious webmaster, you know the value of back ups. eBackUp will create daily backups of your website or web server and safely store them as compressed Zip files in the location(s) of your choice, so you can quickly and easily restore your website should you have to bear the misfotune of lost data due to server error, human error or an old fashioned hard drive crash.
Requirements
eBackup requires three perl modules in order to function. We've found around %60 of Unix servers have these modules installed. To check if your Server has the required Modules, Download and Install E-Vars. Once uploaded in ASCII mode and CHMOD to 755, load the script (myserver.cgi) in a web browser and scroll down to the Module list. You are looking for :
Archive::Zip
Compress::Zlib
Net::FTP
These can be installed on any server by your server administrator. If they will not install them, it's time you started looking for a new host.
